I’ve been working with Mark for a few years. His schedule sometimes causes him to miss a few days in the gym, but he trains as often as possible. His most recent accomplishment is a testament to the power of persistence — despite suboptimal conditions and schedules, a little bit of consistent effort goes a long way.
Mark’s deadlift slowly approached the 400 pounds barrier and he finally broke past it. He worked through some singles last week, the weight moved well, so we decided to load the bar with four plates per side for a grand total of 405 pounds. The weight flew up without any impediment. Great job Mark!
PS — try not to judge him for the distasteful light “beer” shirt.
