Jim Thaxtin has worked through some tough health challenges over the past couple years. The most difficult was phrenic nerve paralysis which inhibited Jim’s ability to breath normally. In an effort to combat it, Jim continued training and building his strength. His deadlift has seen the most improvement recently and he performed two sets or two reps with 380 pounds over the weekend. Jim is another great example that a simple combination of effort and time, even in the face of physical limitations, leads to big progress.
