Gabe “El Gabo” Herman began his novice program with only 155 pounds in the squat. His technique needed a lot of work in addition to low back pain. That was six months ago — he has since added 280 pounds to his squat and significantly increased his deadlift. Most importantly, his low back is now pain-free and his lifting technique has greatly improved. Check out the video below of Gabe’s latest efforts — especially that deadlift!
