Chuck has come a long way since pressing with an empty bar caused sharp pain in his elbows and shoulders. He’s taken good care of himself but has five full decades of wear and tear on his joints. A slow, steady progression with the basic exercises has yielded enormous dividends for Chuck. All his lifts have progressed well, especially his presses in recent months. The video shows his latest personal record in the bench press with 275 pounds for a set of three repetitions. At 51 years of age, Chuck is stronger now than he’s ever been with no signs of slowing down.
